The
Challenge

For four years, Super Summer Storage had offered a storage service that specifically catered to students of five colleges within Rochester, New York area.

In an effort to switch from a mom-and-pop feel to a polished corporate feel, SSS knew its challenge would be seriously rebranding while still remaining consistent to its former look.

In a few month's time, "Super Summer Storage" was later renamed to "4.0 Storage" and through UCO, it was rebranded into a widely recognized company among college students.

THE
LOGO

You know that friend in college who you call when you miss class to get the notes and just know they'll give them to you neat and organized? The one who gets to class always 10-15 min ahead? The one who dresses like they didn't just roll out of bed for class?

Well, we needed to make 4.0 Storage feel like that - a close college buddy who's approachable, prepared, and knowledgeable.

The brand was designed with a central core value of taking action and incorporating the principles of progress, stability, and security. To achieve this, we incorporated college-related symbolism while focusing on a powerfully bold and easily receptive overall look.

Go "4" it!

ON THE
WEB

We designed a new website that made it easy for busy students to quickly gain trust from the brand via visuals, obtain important information, and schedule a pick-up at the end of the semester and delivery at the beginning.

Our client was additionally able to utilize our built-in content management system to make self-edits and manage the scheduler as the core of their business on a daily basis.

1.

The home page showcases a video that allows potential and returning customers to quickly immerse themselves into the 4.0 Storage experience with familiar faces.

PHOTO
& Video

We took photos of the 4.0 Storage owners and different tiered employees to better communicate the "team vibe".

When establishing the new brand, we knew how important it was for customers to see how the 4.0 members are evidently aligned to the characteristics of approachability, friendliness, preparedness, and team work.

Mom-and-pop businesses have the same issues as the Fortune 500. The difference is that big companies spend millions on consultants to fix them.
