The
Challenge

"How do I promote the idea and benefit of light and what it does instead of saying we sell portable lighting products?"

This was the very question asked by Tele-Lite agent representing the brand in the Middle East. Tele-Lite is an American manufacturer of portable emergency lighting tools used by U.S. law enforcement and departments, including the army, navy, fire stations, police departments, FBI investigation as well as SWAT teams.

In an effort to penetrate the MENA (Middle East North Africa) region and strengthen American ties, UCO's challenge was working with a professional translator to capture the essence of light, produce feature-oriented sales collateral, and engage with governmental bodies to assist in communication overseas.

selling the brand story & positive externalities

We produced a video that captured the essence of Tele-Lite, touching upon central Islamic themes (i.e., the meaning of light to Muslims). This included highlighting the importance of increased efficiency of the emergency process for personnel and how products increased protection, security, and safety for residents.

SELL THE
PRODUCT

We produced sales materials to communicate the features of each product offered. When producing all collateral, the color palette and font selected purposely mimicked governmental branding (United Arab Emirates specifically displayed) to assist with message clarity and familiarity.
